So after I updateded Windows 10 to the latest update, my fingerprint won't work anymore. I tried to download the original driver, it won't work. When I swipe my finger over it just keeps blinking but if I hold a finger over it the blinking stops. But when I try to register a finger in Windows Hello or HP Simplepass, it doesn't recognize me swiping my finger over it.

Commentary
- The recommended Eagle Sensor is actually rated for Windows 8.1 (and 8); the driver will work in Windows 10.
- The supported Series 8 HP SimplePass program is rated from Windows 7 through Windows 10.
IF you were previously using Series 6 HP SimplePass (any HP SimplePass version 6.x):
- It is time to switch over to the supported Series 8 HP SimplePass program suite.
- Even if you have an Export file of your webcards (websites / passwords) from that older version of SimplePass, you cannot use (import) the Series 6 .tsd file into Series 8 HP SimplePass. The two program series are NOT compatible. There is no encryption conversion program between the two programs.
- When you switch to the supported version of HP SimplePass, you must create a new database of your websites / passwords. This means you must create all new fingerprint logins.
- The new "webcard" Export file is called the Vault in Series 8 HP SimplePass program. The suffix for the file is ".opi". The Export process is similar to the older SimplePass program; you Export your Vault entries from within the SimplePass program to the .opi file. The file is encrypted -- keep it in a safe location.
