thanks again man, could you take a stab at this post; Pavilion_dv7-4287c just shutsoff
been dealing with this issue for over year or so, thats why i needed admin pass, so I could get in change boot sequence to DVDRom first, so if troubleshooting doesnt work i can nuke the system and reload windows from scratch, but wanting to see if I could avoid that.
thanks man

Hey guys, I have forgotten the password to my HP mini 210-1070NR
When I turn it on I get "Please insert Administator Password, or Power On Password"
When I put in nthe wrong password 3 times it gives me "System Disabled [66817119]"
I would appreciate any help with this ASAP as I will be leaving to go on a trip shortly and would like to take it with me.

Thanks for the help man, I managed to bypass that power on password with out needing a code.
Now I am just trying to figure out a "free" way to remove my actual windows log on password. Administrator is disabled. No Safe mode exists in the Windows 7 Starter OS either it seems.
