Hi,

I'm having the following problem:

- With the notebook plugged in, it states it has a full charge, 100%.

- If I unplug it, it immediately shuts down, and won't power up until I plug it again.

- When it restarts, after replugging it, it still says that it's fully charged, 100%.

The notebook is used mostly plugged in, working with non intensive web based office software. I've never noticed temperature fluctiations or spikes.

I've already changed the battery and it worked properly for a couple of days before it dropped down to its current state.

HP Assistant and HP Diagnostics both state that the battery is working properly.

Windows is updated, as well everything in HP Assistant.

Hope somebody can help with this

Good Day. A warm welcome to the HP community. I reviewed the case regarding issues with the computer. I will be delighted to assist you here.

This look's like a mechanical failure with the notebook itself.

In this case, I'd request you to contact phone support team for further assistance. 🙂

1) Click on this link - http://www.hp.com/contacthp/

2) Select your product type below.

3) Enter the serial of your device.

4) Select the country from the drop-down.

5) Select the chat or get phone number options based on your preferences.

Fill the web-form and proceed further.

Feel free to reach out if need any other assistance.

Thanks,

Barachiel
