Hi,
try go in bios and look on boot setup, if you have USB boot on first place or something like this, so set on first place internal hard drive.
If all in bios is OK, then your harddisk may be bad.
Try boot from bootdisk of windows 7 or XP . When installation od windows find the disk, try recovery.
Or better, try HP recovery. If your disk is broken, then HP recovery comfirm it.

Sorry for the last response.
If you haven’t already tried, remove the hard drive from the casing and try to boot. Still want to see if the computer shuts off in 3-6 seconds. Also try tapping the F10 key to see if it will load into the BIOS menu.

Please, help me!
I have HP G62 and when i turn it on the screen is black and my caps-lock (color LED - white) and F12 (color LED - red) buttons have the LED on... The cooler is running... Last night my laptop was working perfectly and this morning when turn it on SURPRISE, it wasn`t working... Any solutions for this problem?
P.S. Caps-lock LED is flashing...
