Hello, I need help with upgrading the Windows on my sister's HP Pavilion Gaming Laptop. She is stuck on Windows 11 Version 21H2, and it doesn't upgrade from the Windows Update section in Settings, nor did a manual Windows install work. When I tried manually installing Windows, I got an error saying that this PC doesn't support the newest version of Windows, even though the specifications in PC Health Check say it does — and I have my own HP Pavilion Gaming Laptop, same model, and it isn't experiencing this issue. I went through the installation process with Windows Customer Support, and I was told it might be a hardware issue and to contact the manufacturer, but HP Support costs money. I was hoping somebody here might have the answer. Thank you in advance.

Hi:
Other than backing up any files that you need to save onto a portable hard drive and clean installing W11 24H2, the only suggestion I can offer would be to try this in-place upgrade that is used on PC's that don't meet the W11 hardware requirements.
