HP ENVY17 NOTEBOOK
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

There were some Windows 10 updates a couple of weeks ago, since then I get this message in a window every time I switch on.  My HP Desktop is fine and does not givethe message.Capture.JPG

 

 

Control Panel only shows two HP display entries, I tried a check fo updated drivers but neither find anything new.

Is there any way of clearing this annoying message?  Needless to say, the laptop is working fine.

Hi,

 

Open windows Control Panel, open Programs and Features, right click the entry for HP 3D DriveGuard and select Uninstall.

 

When this has completed, restart the notebook.

 

When windows has reloaded, download and install the version of HP 3D DriveGuard on the following link.

 

http://ftp.hp.com/pub/softpaq/sp81001-81500/sp81142.exe
