Hi,
I want to replace the laptop's curent SATA 3 HDD with an SSD and I'd like to know what's the best fastest SSD variant that laptop can support.

Your machine has Intel processor and from Page 3 of the manual, it supports PCIe, NVMe, M.2 solid-state drives which are the fastest for that kind of machines at this stage.
