I just bought this laptop for teaching - so the quality of the built in video camera image in zoom is very important to me. The built in wide angle camera produces an extremely grainy picture. I tried updating the camera driver but there has not been a new version since 2006 - My old Dell didn't have the nice stylus ready touchscreen - but the video image was light years better. If there is a secret driver update out there that resolves this, I'd like to know. The video quality appears inadequate for a device of this quality. Don't get me wrong - I love all the other features but will tell all my friends to stay away from this machine due to the poor video quality.

I reviewed your post and I understand that the webcam video quality is very poor.
Don’t worry, I assure you I will try my best to get this sorted.
I recommend you follow the below steps and check if it helps.
-
Make sure your video recording environment has good lighting.
-
Change the image quality, brightness, contrast, and other adjustments in the webcam software.
To resolve problems with choppy playback, take the following actions:
-
Reduce the size of the video image in the webcam software.
-
Use a high-speed internet connection.
-
Do not use other high-speed USB devices while using the webcam.
Let me know how it goes and you have a great day!
