You're very welcome.

Since I have never taken a notebook apart that has a removable battery, unfortunately I don't know what difficulties you will encounter removing the connector.

Hi:

Below is the link to the product specs for your notebook.

HP Notebook - 15-db0091wm Product Specifications | HP® Customer Support

Since your notebook did not come with a M.2 SATA SSD, there is no M.2 slot, so your only option would be to replace the 2.5" mechanical hard drive with a 2.5" SSD.

If your notebook had a M.2 slot, only SATA M.2 SSD's are supported in the models with the AMD A4-9125 processors.

I would get the higher performing Crucial MX500 2.5" SSD unless you are on a strict budget.

Your notebook has one memory slot and the max memory the slot can support is 1 x 8 GB.

DDR4-2400 memory would be sufficient as the processor only runs the memory at 1866 MHz.

  • CT8G4SFS824A

If you want to use the CT8G4SFRA32A, that would be fine, but it is only going to run at 1866 Mhz.

Now for the bad news...even with those upgrades, your notebook is still going to run marginally at best.

I have the HP 255 G7 notebook, which is the business class equivalent of your model, and mine came from the factory with 8 GB of memory and a 256 GB M.2 SATA SSD.

Slow...it runs a tiny bit better with W11 installed.

Worst HP notebook I have ever owned, sad to say.

Hi

I have the Hp 15-au018

I upgraded the RAM to

CRUCIAL  2-8GB DDR4-2400 SODIMM 1.2V CL17

Replaced 1TB hard drive with a

CRUCIAL MX500 2TB 3D NAND SATA SSD

I’ve had no issues with my CRUCIAL products.  I used their charts to get the right components.
I’m very happy with the results

Good Luck
