Hi!

Wonder if this will fit straight on my HP 14 since it's not included: https://www.aliexpress.com/item/MAD-DRAGON-new-Brand-For-HP-ENVY-15-15-j105tx-15-j-15-j015sr-DW15-la...

It should but I thought I'd ask before trying it on...

No need for thumbs up or other farcical deeds.

@Petro_

You need the following parts for your 14" machine

  • Hard drive bracket part # 933608-001
  • Hard drive cable part # 927917-001

Regards.

Thank You for your answer!

I'm aware of the two parts You mention but...

HP is charging an arm and a leg for them. The cable alone is €32-€52 which in my eyes is an open and plain fraud...

What I linked to should work if it holds up to the industry standard and that's my worry here... I wonder if HP like Compaq did in the 90's swapping the standard connections by crosswiring and so on between their models...

My 2.5" EVO 840 SSD is already in the machine, firmly with double sided tape. 😉

No need for thumbs up or other farcical deeds.
