Operating System: Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

i want to upgrade my laptops 1TB hdd to 1TB ssd(internal) and i want to know to compatible ssd that i can install inside my laptop. i have found this web site that tells me the compatible hardware with my laptops motherboard [removed]. I'm thinking about the samsung-860-evo-ssd 1TB, will it boost my laptops loading speed and booting speed? and can i install it instead of the hdd i have now? (the hard disk in my laptop is Toshiba MQ01ABD100). and one last quiestion is sata 2 and sata 3 backward compatible?

   http://www.crucial.com/usa/en/compatible-upgrade-for/HP---Compaq/envy-17t-k300

 

Yes, replacing existing HDD with SSD will give your machine a new life.
