Hi All,

 

I need your help regarding upgrading my laptop hdd and ram

 

Pls advice on the maximum type of the ram and capacity compatible with my CQ20-326TU

 

And what is the maximum hdd capacity compatible with CQ20-326TU and can I use a 72000rpm HDD, please advise the hdd dimension too.

I'm sure you know it is quite old and perhaps even obsolete but having said that the max memory would be 2 x 2 gig DDR2-800 SO-DIMM and yes you can use a 7200 rpm 2.5 inch wide and 9.5mm thick laptop hard drive. It's SATA interface so you could install the largest capacity you can buy. 2 TBs are available.

Yes a 7mm will always work in place of a 9.5 mm....everything lines up just thinner. Worst case maybe need a spacer.
