Operating System: Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

I have an HP Pavilion Power Laptop 15-cb0xx and I'm looking to upgrade my HDD to SSD.. Is the HP EX920 M.2 512GB PCIe 3.0 x4 NVMe 3D TLC NAND Internal Solid State Drive compatible with my notebook? It is the 1st one that showed when I googled 512 GB M2 SSD. Please help.

Hi,

Yes. Your PC supports both M2 SATA3 and faster M2 PCIe NVMe SSDs. So the one you mentioned in your post should work without any problem.

On page 43 of service manual you can see the steps to install drive:

You will need to install the OS on the SSD for performance gain.
