I am using HP Pavilion 15-N011TU Notebook can I upgrade my internal HDD with an SSD if yes then which SSD are compatible.

Hi,
Yes you can upgrade to an SSD which will greatly increase everyday performance of the PC.
You need a 2.5" Sata III SSD and I would recommend at least 500GB as the drive which came with the PC. One of the best prize/performance SSD is the Samsung 850 evo.
On page 67 of service manual you can see the steps to replace the drive:

There will be no problems as long as you use Windows media to reinstall the OS. To use HP recovery disks the drive has to be the same size or larger than original drive.
You can download the media creation tool from Microsoft and create a bootable pendrive with Windows 8.1 on it. Use this drive to install the OS once you have inserted the SSD. After installation let Windows completely update and find all the necessary drivers.

I think after upgrading to SSD and upgrading the RAM from 4GB to 8GB my laptop will handle much more task than previously.
And it will also handle daily task smoothly.
