Hi:
You can replace the 2.5" mechanical hard drive with a 2.5" SATA SSD.
See chapter 6 of the service manual for the hard drive removal and replacement procedure.

You're very welcome.
The reason I didn't mention anything about the M.2 slot is because only the 15-au notebooks that came with a M.2 SATA SSD have the M.2 slots.
If you look at chapter 3 of the service manual, you will see that the M.2 slot is an add on part, so it is not included unless the notebook came with a M.2 slot from the factory.
So, that was the reason for my answer...you can only install a 2.5" SATA SSD in your notebook.

You're very welcome.
Unfortunately, I don't know where you can find the parts you need to add a M.2 SATA SSD slot for sale in India.
However, here is the link to the service manual and chapter 3 has the parts you need to add a M.2 SSD slot.

If you have mistakenly bought a M.2 SATA SSD already, you can also purchase a 2.5" SATA SSD adapter and use it where the hard drive goes.
