Pavilion 17-e113dx
Microsoft Windows 8.1 (64-bit)

Hi,

I have an HP Pavilion Laptop 17-e113dx. Purchased from Best Buy in 2014.
The Display is a 17.3-inch diagonal HD+ BrightView LED-backlit display (1600 x 900).

But, what I am wondering, is what is the maximum resolution that this laptop will send over an HDMI cable to a 4K monitor (Samsung Model U28E590D -- LU28E590DS/ZA)? For example, viewing a 4K video on YouTube, with resolution options for that video listed from 144p to 2160p.

And, where would I view that data, if possible.

Here's the YouTube video link if that helps:

@rover_7577 Welcome to HP Community!

I understand that you would like to know the resolution supported for the HDMI cable.

The HDMI v1.4 supporting up to 1920×1080 @ 60Hz.

Please refer the user manual
