Pavilion dv7-4087cl
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

After installed Windows 10 on my Laptop, the HDMI output does not work and neither recognize any device that I connect. I already tried changing the Display and Sound settings and all the possible solutions suggested in this site and Youtube with no positive results. Can be possible a hardware problem? How can I test it. I really appreciate any help since project presentations from my laptop to a TV or monitor via HDMI is part of my work functions 😢. Thanks in advance!

Hi:

There are no W10 graphics drivers for the Intel/AMD graphics adapter your notebook has.

The only operating system you can run on that model and have the HDMI port work is W7 64 bit.

Thank you very much for your help. I will be downgrading my OS to W7 again to solve this issue.
