HP 14-AM081TU
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

Hello,

I want to upgrade the RAM of my HP 14-AM081TU notebook.

I have an intel version with Intel(R) Core(TM) i5-6200U CPU @ 2.30GHz. Can I use the 4 GB + 8 GB combination?

Also, it is difficult to find 2133 MHz RAM So, will 8GB 2400MHz  (https://www.amazon.in/dp/B07PM6MWJD/ref=cm_sw_em_r_mt_dp_terIFbD86W3G5) support the 2nd slot of my notebook paired with the default 4GB Samsung 2133MHz RAM?

@smt8

You can add 8GB Samsung RAM (same characteristics with existing RAM) to your machine. 2400MHz is OK but it will run at 2133MHz or using the following compatible RAM (will run at 2133MHz)

Thanks for the prompt help.

If I use 2400MHz 8 GB RAM, should I place it in the 1stslot and 4 GB default 2133 Mhz 8GB Samsung RAM in the 2nd slot, or anyway is fine?
