Thank you for taking the time to respond to my post. I understand that you have limited resources in these times, however I can't help pointing out that even with limited resources a forum Admin has taken the time to yet again delete my image of the swollen battery. And yet again I have not received any explanation or update when that happened.

As this is a community, I think it would be beneficial for HP to answer the questions that I've addressed. I can imagine there will be lots of people searching for similar issues in future and it they will find this topic beneficial instead of wasting one month as I did. So, here it goes again, the questions and the picture:

1.  How come this is not on the list of defective recall products ? It looks like a defective product to me.  (question from ‎08-05-2020)

2.  What types of battery are compatible with this machine and does HP have any approved replacement vendors? (question from 08-17-2020, even more confused after today's call)

3.  What would be the cost for HP providing a replacement, only the battery? (question from 08-17-2020, partial answer via 3rd party today). Why try to charge me £314 for a battery replacement and offer 3 months warranty for it?

@Ovidelu

I understand your concerns.

If the product not under warranty you have to pay for the support. There is no other option.

Or you can contact the local service center for battery replacement.

Have a nice day!!

Thank you for understanding my concerns and your highly valuable reply Praveen. It brought great progress for a topic in which the HP employees are deleting my picture of the swollen battery from a laptop that can't have the lid closed as the display rubs to the chassis and the mouse is possessed.

Also, thank you very much for recommending me to use the HP service team, the team that has asked for a petty three times the cost of the actual part to fit to their sub-mediocre premium laptop.

There, here's the image of the bloated HP battery with only 13% use cycle. Battery from Envy 15.jpg
