Hi
I would like to upgrade the RAM memory of my laptop, but I am not sure of what is the max amount that it can handle (in means of frecuency). I know that it can takes 16GB but I don't have idea about what frecuency value it haves as a limit, I want to go over 1866Mhz
My computer have these specs:
Model: HP 15-bw032wm
Processor: AMD A12-9720P RADEON R7, 12 COMPUTE CORES 4C+8G 2.70 GHz
Memory already installed: DD4 8GB 1866Mhz
I would be really grateful if someone can help me!

Welcome to our HP User Forum!
The maximum RAM speed possible in your HP Notebook - 15-bw032wm (2DW04UA) is 1866 MHz which is determined/limited by your AMD Quad-Core A12-9720P processor, which is the best processor available for your laptop.
You are correct: max RAM for your laptop is 2 x 8GB of DDR4 PC4-14900, 1866 MHz, Non-ECC, Unbuffered, SODIMM, 260-pin RAM sticks.
You could use DDR4 2400/2666/3200 MHz RAM, but it will down throttle to 1866 MHz.
Kind Regards,
