It has an M.2 slot and can accept 2280 form factor SATA or NVME M.2 SSDs.

Start on p. 38 for back cover removal. Inside you see this:

You can use a Samsung Evo 970 NVME M.2 which is near the top end performance wise.

Post back with any other questions and please accept as solution if its the info you needed.

Thank you very much, can i put in Western Digital SSD M.2 2280 120gb? And how it is with warranty? I cant lost it after this upgrade? Thanks

HP Recommended

Western Digital makes several different ones. Get the Black if you can find it but blue will also work just slower. Warranty will not be lost but be careful not to break anything as that's on you.

I decide between WD Green 120GB or Patriot Scorch Nvme 128gb.. I want some not very cheap and not expensive but with good performance. And i have question.. Intel Optane 16gb is better or worse choice for better performance than classic M2 ssd? Thanks

HP Recommended

Well we have a little education to do. An Optane module is nothing more than a small capacity NVME M.2 disk. Looks exactly the same and you physically install it the same way. However, instead of being the place where Windows files are permanently stored it binds to the mechanical hard drive in a sort of RAID array and the special software moves files onto the Optane module on the fly so that they can be processed very fast from there and speeds up the operation of the mechanical drive. The performace of an Optane enhanced mechanical hard drive lies somewhere between a SATA SSD and an NVME SSD so in answer to your direct question its worse.

Thank you so much, and please finally which one of these should i choose according to you?

1. WD Green 3D NAND SSD 120 GB M.2 SATA 3
2. ADATA Ultimate SU800 M.2 2280 SATA3 128GB

3. PATRIOT Scorch M.2, 2280, PCIe Gen 3.0×2 NVMe 128GB

4. Kingston SSDNow UV500 120GB M.2 SATA 3
