HP 15 dw1010la
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

Hi, i need to know how much RAM my HP 15 dw1010la supports.  i have conflicting info because when i run the Crucial.com compatible upgrades checker the max compatible RAM kit is 64 GB (32GBx2), but when i run CMD wmic memphysical get maxcapacity gives me a max of 32GB, so i don´t know what info to believe. I´ve already upgraded from 8GB to 16GB so my only doubt is about the real max RAM capacity of my HP model. Best.

Considering what the Windows Powershell/Command line command reveals and what I found on the Crucial site, it is likely that  the presence 64 GB module that you show in the image  is an error on their part.

To avoid unnecessary expense and frustration on your part, I suggest that 32 GB is the installed memory limit.

I only see Crucial publishing 32GB as max installed guaranteed compatible memory.  Where have you seen 64 GB?

I recommend that you go with 32GB as the maximum installed memory since Crucial and the wmic command agree with that figure.

Yeah, i guess 32 GB is enough for now. Best.
