Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

When trying to install these new RAM sticks:

OLOy DDR4 RAM 32GB (2x16GB) 3200 MHz CL22 1.2V 260-Pin Laptop SODIMM for Intel (MD4S1632220IZ0DC)

The computer wont boot up. I removed the SSD and the battery before performing the replacement. And obviously reconnected them to power it on. Please note that when rolling back to the old RAM sticks the computer boots up fine.

When I turn it on with the new sticks, the screen stays black, the fan turns on and only the LED on the power button lights up.

Please help 🙂

Definitely new RAM is not compatible. Did you check compatible before buying new RAM ? Crucial says it has following compatible RAM sticks:

Thanks for your reply.

Out of curiosity. How can you tell it's not compatible? If those Crucial ones are out of stock how can I tel which other options would be compatible?

Thanks in advance!
