HP 17 Gen 10 NVME capable?

I have a newly purchased HP Laptop 17-by3053cl (Product Number 1G136UA#ABA)

Does this laptop have a M2 NVME connector on the motherboard?

I want to replace the 5400 RPM HDD with SSD, would prefer to go NVME if there is a connector on motherboard vs a SATA replacement.

(I used to be able to get HP Service manuals and you could deduct the upgrade options, but no Service manual found for this laptop, only a User manual)

Searched the forums but found nothing on this particular model

Hi:

Your model should have a M.2 slot for a NVMe SSD.

You shuld be able to refer to the service manual from the older model series at the link below.

Chapter 1 indicates that NVMe drives are supported on models with the Intel core processors.

The Crucial memory/SSD report for your specific notebook model shows that NVMe M.2 SSD's are supported.

Saved me the time of opening it up to check, then having to close it while waiting for parts to arrive.

I did look at Crucial (and a few others), but didn't come up with anything.
