Hi Everyone! I bought HP 250 G5 INTEL QUAD CORE(4 gig ram, 1.6 Ggh)recently. I'm not really enjoy this due to the slowness, and low graphics. Some software I'm currently using are complaining badly. This is making me sad. I have tried reaching the store I bought they said I should add more money( x2 of what I paid initially) to get something higher. I don't have this money for I even struggled before I could get the money I spent for this. So my question now is- Is it possible to get a motherboard that can have better spec(2.5 GgH and above and good graphic display) than what my HP 250 G5 is having currently(I.6 GgH). Your reponses are highly appreciated.

Its hard to say not knowing what system board or CPU you have now.
What is the model number of the CPU you have installed now???
Your manual here.

Page 32-34.
There are around 50 system boards to choose from.

Right click on start and go to system.
There you will find what CPU you have.
Since you do not even know how to find the CPU model are you sure you can replace the system board???

Hi
I have a HP250 G5 Intel i7-7500u and this is the best machine I have bought so far and HP has put together a fantasic machine.
First of all, you need to know how to improve the system: I have just replaced the HDD with my previous SSD drive and the boot up time is blitz! I have also gone into msconfig and used autoruns from microsoft tools and disable programs and services which are not needed. I have also tweaked the windows registry, in memory management ,which make a huge difference as well. In terms of 4GB of Ram this is inadequete in todays computing power and you need at least 8GB of ram, espeacially running Windows 10. If you use both channels for the Ram, also, you will notice a big boost in performance as well, which I still need to do personally myself as my machine has only one 8GB Ram module.
I hope this all helps! It is a very decent machine although not the best in terms of graphics.
