I'm sorry for being late, so turns up the laptop was just fine without upgrading, ram is good and the hard disk is also good, no speed issues. So I have this Samsung DDR4 Memory which my older brother gave me, Since his lenovo laptop died, he's not a fan of laptops anymore, So I can't spot the speed of the stick on it, I think it is 2133 mhz, Still not sure about that, But is it okay if I use that with the 2400 mhz one already installed ? It would make a difference because the GPU uses 2 GBs (Hardware Reserved).
So the overall is 6 GBs

Hi:
Your notebook's processor can only run the memory at a max speed of 2400 MHz, but HP may have installed a DDR4-2666 MHz memory chip in there.
Use the free utility that I zipped up and attached below that will show you the speed of the memory chip HP installed.
