Hi,
I am as well facing this Broken Hinge issue.
The right hinge of my laptop ENVY 360 had broken/popped out, cracking the screen and making the laptop unusable.
There is a vast amount of customers who have had the same problem and this need to be addressed properly by HP.
I would like HP to acknowledge the problem and do something to re-instore trust in their high-end products.
An above $1300 laptop, should last more than its warranty life!
Here is an example of another thread mentioning the issue:

I came here only to say that I had the EXACT same issue with a Pavillion laptop which costed about 800$
The warranty is not an excuse, nor the cost itself!
I properly fixed the problem but the support company that took the case in Greece did not make it EASY for me. Send it back once unfixed and then I send it back again indicating it was not my fault. Grrrr
Now 3 years have passed and the battery is DEAD.
Thank you HP. Not purchasing again. Very bad support website (don't recognizing product details) and bad support agencies in Greece.

I have the same problem. My son’s right hinge on the x360 broke in just over 2.5 years of use. He has treated it well - no drops or damage. This is a serious problem and is rendering the computer unusable. The screen is NOT YET cracked, so it seems that we might be able to fix it with minimal damage. Please provide direction on how to move forward.

I also have this same broken computer I wasted money on due to a bad hinge and cracked case after very little time. HP is making it completely impossible to get ahold of anyone or get help. How am I supposed to get this fixed? I have a laptop that's not even two years old I cannot use.

Mines the same computer Envy 360 but its my left hinge that's broken and it makes the touch screen come up with messages from Microsoft and only way to stop it is to turn computer off and restart
The hinges are rubbish as plastic has gone brittle and broken
Do I get any help off HP? or reduction off a new product?
