Hello!  I am a middle school teacher who has been given the task of handling our 800 Chromebooks.  Our warranty just went up over the summer and I am having issues spring up with a few cameras on the Chromebooks.  I have taken all of the steps laid out on the support site (reinstall, etc), but the issue has not gone away.  This has been a common issue with this model, but since we are now out of warranty I have been tasked with trying to figure out a solution.  Any help would be greatly appreciated!

Hello, and Welcome to the HP Support Community!

 

Hard to tell from this side of the screen what may be the cause of your camera issues!   😉

 

Here are two links that provide the basic steps to troubleshoot cam problems.  Hopefully the kids have not beat the Chromebooks up beyond repair!!
