Hello I want to upgrade my laptop's processor with T9400 or T9600 processor, but I have no idea whether it is compatible, I write down the necessary information but should I trust Adia 64 and Cpu-z programs?

The critical thing is the chipset and the apps you used can be trusted to identify that. You have the PM45 chipset which means you have a discrete or dedicated video card. Your motherboard will run up to a T9600. It's a dropin replacement using the same fan and heatsink part.

Do I have a heating problem if I replace it with t9600 ?

HP Recommended

Gonna be hotter than the Pentium but the system is designed for the T9600 so should be OK. Be sure to apply good thermal compound correctly (sparingly but covering the processor core) and clean the fan and air vents well when you do the upgrade.

Thank you Huffer , Are you sure that it supports up to T9600 because I will buy the processor second hand and I will not have a chance to return it

One more question aida shows that it supports up to 8gb ram, but in my research on the internet it supports up to a maximum of 4gb

HP Recommended

DDR2-667 and it will take 8 gigs. The Manual says 4 gigs is the max largely because 4 gb modules of DDR2 were not very commonly found and to this day are a bit pricey.
