But the driver from window update catalogue does not have digital signatue. So its Microsoft problem right?

The digital signature is usually embedded in .cab files and must be done by the releasing company, by itself of allowed, or via specific companies.

Uhm Ippedd are you from HP Company or just a member on this forum? I have a question, why Microsoft did not replace an issue driver on their website? Its 2 days since the update. Does the digital signature is hard to sign for them?

  1. download driver
  2. unpack downloaded *.cab file anywhere
  3. disable driver signature verification (shift+reboot)
  4. right click on accelerometer.inf & select install

I am not an HP employee. I just provided a solution to a single problem.

I don't know why this is still not resolved, nor I want to know. HP business imho.

 

@andmail please provide also a link to the original post, which has a detailed overview of the solution and also explain what is a signature and why it must be there.

Uhm andmail i read your instruction about disable driver signature but the next time i log in to my pc it will be enabled again. Will it affect my driver that dont have a valid signature?
