There were 3 the other day.  Then one.  And now none.  I tried installing all 3 at various times and none of them had a digital signature.  I don't know how other people reported success.  I'm currently using the unsigned 6.0.21.1.   And in the mean time Windows Update kept downloading 6.0.21.1 and said it installed successfully 19 times! (even though it really didn't).  I finally hid the update using wushowhide.diagcab.  Perhaps they will eventually release 6.0.22.1?  We'll see over the next week or so.  Really HP!  A simple driver to support the protection of the hard drive during a fall.  Can't be that complicated!  Just don't drop your notebook until HP fixes the driver!

Why? I also have download this driver from window update catalog and it had been signed. Why you said it didn't sign? Strange.

I just installed this driver 2 days ago and the error was gone. My device is up to date. But today they remove the 6.0.21.1 version from their database and i see people report the blackscreen when start up. I don't use my pc for 2 days and now we have this new problem. Are you kiddding me HP?

I just received an update to install 6.0.19.I . I guess they are rolling back to that one. Bizzare!

Did you have blackscreen when start up? I see 2 people report it.
HP Recommended
Yes, the black startup screen immediately after restarting after installing 6.0.19.1. Will try restarting again later.
