I bought from HP USA my notebook in 2019, since the first day I feel like the hinge was rare, now, approximately one year after I found this inside the case, the hinge it's totally broken, I can even close my notebook. I never dropped or nothing like this. Someone can help my? I read that HP wants to charge 600$ to fix this problem THAT IS THEIR FAULT!!!!!!!! I'm honestly tired of HP.

Hi UlissesC,

I am so sorry you have suffered with this issue for such a long time. Unfortunately  HP can be like that, as you didn't report the manufacture fault within a certain time, for the free replacement. As of now this would be a chargeable repair via them. Now the best bet I can recommend if you obviously do not want to pay that excessive charge of 600 dollars, is to try contact a local tech store or technician, to see if they could do this fix for you at a lower price. Or maybe you could repair this yourself, if I was to try and find the right parts for you?

Thanks

Terran.

I'm sure that even if I had claimed on time it would be without charges. I found the part in china but I'm not sure if it's the same, could you send me if you find something please! Thanks
