I bough this laptop new about 2 years ago. Now lets see, where to start
1. As soon as I got the laptop, I knew the hinges were too tight and that they would fail. I tried to mitigate this by oiling them, then I stopped closing the lid, but alas, the right hings shattered after about 14 months. I actually made a splint out of mdf and use this now to support the laptop screen which has to be left constantly open. My previous laptop was also a HP and it suffered exactly the same fate. Why did I not learn.
2. The left speaker stopped working and now comes and goes intermittently.
3. The edges of the underside feel sharp to the touch. This is no longer an issue as the thing now sits on a permanent splint but it was very noticeable before the thing fell asunder.
An awful, awful . . . truly awful piece of junk. My new laptop shopping search now excludes one manufacturer from the lest, yes I will never touch HP again as long as I live.
Did I mention awful . . .
