Hi:

Below is the link to the product specs for your notebook:

HP ENVY Laptop 13-ba1023TX Product Specifications | HP® Support

It comes with 16 GB DDR4-2666 SDRAM (onboard) system memory.

'Onboard' means the memory is an integral part of the motherboard and cannot be removed or upgraded.

You can replace the 512 GB NVMe SSD with one having a greater storage capacity though.

Below is the link to the service manual:

Maintenance and Service Guide HP Envy 13 Laptop PC

The NVMe slot is PCIe Gen 3.0.

While a Gen 4 SSD will work, it will not run at its maximum advertised read/write speeds from a Gen 3 slot.

This table provides the maximum transfer speeds that one can expect from the various PCI slot generations.
