HP ENVY TS M6-K022DX replace motherboard

 I figured out why is went south 

after taken it apart person who had it last plugged the battery in wrong and bent the pins cause it to only  last a while then short out to bad

I guess it will be for parts

That's unfortunate someone didn't refer to the service manual for how to properly install the battery.

Ya  at least someone can buy it for the case and the screen and the rest the motherboard is shot

question I am still working on this a friend I know has a motherboard (725462-501) for this laptop of mine but he says the following Works, but CPU runs very hard within seconds. unknown what hard means 

it is a easy fix with a copper shield or something like that or is it the board is wearing out

Unfortunately, I wouldn't know what the cause of that problem could be. 

Fixing laptops is something I have no experience with beyond installing memory and drives

Could it be a clogged fan or not enough thermal grease  or old thermal grease  or a fan not running property (Fast enough to keep it cool ?

I suppose it could be or a cracked heat sink pipe.

got unit today not as it was isted it is a HP Envy M6-n010dx   laptop   little older than the other 

oh well 20.00 maybe I get it running for a resale 

as is laos did not say it has a bad screen as seen below  must be dead pixels ?
