Product: HP ENVY dv6-7200 Notebook PC series
Operating System: Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

 

The diagnostics on my HP ENVY dv6 7215 NR laptop tell me my battery is weak and needs to be replaced.  Battery is listed as #671731-001.  It is not available on the HP website.  Is that the battery you recommend or are there other better recommendations?  Thanks in advance for your help.

I need to see but I think the 9-cell may have the bump and lifts the rear end  about 1/2 - 3/4 inch???

 

But it does last longer.

Thanks, REO.  I had the User Guide downloaded from long ago but not the Service Guide.  This was very helpful and I appreciate it.  Prices are better than the $72-$114 options that I found elsewhere.  Not sure about buying these on Ebay but I'll check out the choices on Amazon and some of the other HP authorized service listings.
