I am curious if this model of HP Laptop supports USB-C Power Delivery. I know that at least some models in the family do because there was a BIOS patch some time ago that added support for 65W charging (Profile 4).

I have a Dell D6000 Docking Station that utilizes the USB-C connection, but I cannot get the device to charge. Can anyone confirm whether this model supports charging so that I know if I have a problem with my device?

It only has

  • 1 HDMI;
  • 1 USB 3.1 Type-C™ Gen 1 (Data Transfer up to 5 Gb/s, DP1.2, HP Sleep and Charge);
  • 2 USB 3.1 Gen 1 (1 HP Sleep and Charge);
  • 1 HDMI v2.0a;
  • 1 headphone/microphone combo

And the USB-C port does NOT support PD (Power Delivery).

Note: Sleep and Charge means it can charger phone/tablet when it sleeps.

Regards.

It appears that I made a typo when I authored my post. I don't have the 15-bp100. I actually have the 15t-bp100. Does that make a difference? I'm still curious...
