HP ENVY x360 Convertible Laptop PC 13m-bd0023dx battery issues HELP ASAP

I just bought this (HP ENVY x360 Convertible Laptop PC 13m-bd0023dx) laptop and it was my favorite laptop until I started using it and it completely drains it's batter from 100% to dead battery in exactly 2 hours! I was told it would last 8-11 hours.

What is the problem here and how can I fix it ASAP!

These batteries will not last 8 hours or 11 hours, only if you keep them on standby all the time. If you want to optimize your battery a little bit more, follow these steps

How long should the battery last? I've tried everything you've named and it doesn't make a difference.

Normally lowering the screen brightness to 50% and closing background programs should last between 4 to 5 hours. Not using a lot of internet and few open programs

So why do you think my laptop is only working for 2 hours? Brightness is always all the way down and battery saver is on.

What is the problem so I can try to solve it. I really need it to work normally since I paid so much for it and I need it to work as you said for programming and etc.

Check if you have the updated BIOS, if it does not work, use the warranty if you want

I don't have a warranty though. Do you think it's a battery issue or something else?

but you say that you bought it recently, does not have warranty ? s This changes everything because the batteries over the years are degrading and lose their ability to charge and if you do not have warranty this notebook surely your battery already has several years of use

I bought it from a second hand store. What would you recommend I do?

I don't know what you can do, you can try to change the battery on your own or wait until the current battery is damaged and then change it.
