HP ENVY x360 Convertible Laptop PC 15-ed1000 IDS Base Model

Hello,

I am writing with a deep sense of disappointment and concern regarding the unfortunate situation I am facing with my HP Envy x360 laptop.

Regrettably, after only 19 months of normal and careful use, the hinge of my laptop has broken. As a loyal HP customer, I expected the durability and quality of the product to be exemplary, but this unfortunate incident has left me disheartened.

Upon researching the matter extensively through various channels, including the HP forum and other sources, it has come to my attention that the hinge problem appears to be a recurring issue with convertible HP laptops. Moreover, I was dismayed to discover that HP has been aware of this problem since at least 2018, and there is even an ongoing class action lawsuit pertaining to this matter.

Considering the significant investment I made in purchasing the HP Envy x360 from the United States, it is disconcerting to learn that this apparent design flaw has affected my device as well. I am currently residing in France, and this poses additional challenges in resolving the issue.

Therefore, I am reaching out to inquire about the possible solutions available to address this problem. It is my sincere hope that HP takes responsibility for this issue and offers an appropriate resolution for loyal customers like myself.

I would appreciate your prompt assistance in providing information on the most feasible course of action to rectify this matter. Moreover, I am curious about the potential cost involved in replacing the hinge, considering my laptop was purchased in the United States.

While I understand that issues can arise with any electronic device, I expect HP, as a reputable brand, to stand behind its products and customers by offering a fair and reasonable solution.

Please be informed that I am writing in a professional yet stern tone because I believe this situation warrants urgency and attention.

I am attaching the images for your reference.
