In December 2019 I purchased the HP USB-C dock Y0K80AA with the HP Envy x360 15t dr100 CTO laptop 6VH10AV. Windows 10 64 bit pro. I am using dual Spectre 22" monitors, via the dock 1 HDMI and 1 DispayPort. When I first hooked everything up the USB-C power delivery worked, but the laptop would sleep even with sleep disabled in the applicable power settings (with lid closed and plugged in). I followed the instructions in the pdf manual to install the USB-C elite docking station drivers that were included on the flash drive. Now the laptop does not charge via USB-C. I contacted HP support and they shipped a replacement. Repeat, I got the same results. I want the laptop to charge and not go to sleep when docked. Please help.

Welcome to the HP Support Community!
I reviewed your post and I understand that the computer is going to sleep when docked.
Don’t worry, I assure you I will try my best to get this sorted.
I recommend you follow the below steps and check if it helps.
Press ‘Win + I’ shortcut keys to open Windows Settings app.
Click on ‘Update & Security’, then go to the ‘Troubleshoot’ section from the left-side menu.
Scroll downwards a bit and click on the ‘Power’ option.
Click on ‘Run the Troubleshooter’. It will start detecting the problems and if it founds, go ahead fixing it.
If you continue facing the issue, then follow the below steps.
On your keyboard, press ‘Windows key + R’ and type ‘Powercfg.cpl’ in it.
Hit the ‘Enter’ key to open power options in the control panel.
From the left-hand side, click on ‘Choose what the power buttons do’.
Then, click on the link ‘Change settings that are currently unavailable’.
From the bottom given power button options, uncheck the ‘Turn on fast startup’ option.
Click on ‘Save changes’ button.
If the issue persists, follow the below steps.
Go to the ‘Start’ menu and type ‘Control panel’ then hit the ‘Enter’ key.
From the top-right filter, choose ‘Large icons’ and navigate to the ‘Power Options’,
Click and open the ‘Power options’.
Select the power plan according to your requirement and click on ‘Change plan settings’.
Click on ‘Change advanced power settings’.
In the power options windows, click on the button ‘Restore plan defaults’.
Click on ‘Apply’ and then ‘OK’ button.
Let me know how it goes and you have a great day!

I suggest you start with a hard reset: Click here for steps,
When done, you may want to check with an alternate power cord/adapter as it could be a malfunction that's causing this issue to occur, here's what you could do:
If the charger shows inconsistent power output values, I would suggest that you step into Best Buy or staples and try with a different adapter and that should isolate the issue to the adapter or the computer.
Please try a different battery on the unit as well.
Do not buy the battery and adapter. It is only for testing.
Use spare ones that they may have. If it works correctly, then you could think of buying it.
Meanwhile, also, try the below:
Steps to uninstall the ACPI drivers
Right-Click on start button> click device manager> Batteries>then select the s drivers and right-click on it and uninstall all battery drivers.
Then restart the computer and check again.

If you wish to thank me for my efforts, you could click on "Accept as solution" on my post as the solution should help others too.

The laptop still goes to sleep when on USB-C dock only. It's not charging via the docking station, and says on battery. I replaced the dock and power supply completely, one at a time. No difference. I did a hard reset . Is this laptop fully compatible with USB-C power delivery on this docking station? I'm beginning to think I need a different dock.
