HP Elitebook 8760w
Microsoft Windows 7 (64-bit)

Hello,

i am having some funny issues with my HP Elitebook 8760w, i bought from a friend in USA down to Nigeria.

if i turn it on, after some time, i am unable to click some areas on my desktop.

example

if i click on my desktop icon, they will not but the Taskbar icon will be working. or the browser interface will be working while the startup menu are unable to work. when i click on non-working icon, it wouldn't respond but if i Hibernate or "sleep" the laptop, turn it back on, everything will come back to normal.

I have updated all the drivers here http://h20564.www2.hp.com/hpsc/swd/public/readIndex?sp4ts.oid=5071184

but it is still happening.

Please what will i do?

thanks in advance

Hello @OkijaAmaka

Thank you for posting on the HP Forums.

To get your issue more exposure I would suggest posting it in the commercial forums since the HP Elitebook 8760w is a commercial product. You can do this here: Notebook - HP ProBook, EliteBook, Compaq, Slate/Tablet PC, Armada, LTE

The support page for your product may be helpful in the meantime: HP EliteBook 8760w Mobile Workstation

I hope this helps!
