Hi!
I have just recently acquired a new HP Envy 13 ah0002np that comes with i5 8250u, 8gb ram and a 256gb ssd.
I know that I cannot upgrade the ram due to it being soldered into the motherboard but I am interested in upgrading the ssd to a 480gb or 512gb one. My question is: If I upgrade my SSD, will I void with my warranty?
Thanks!

Your Manual:
Start on p. 26 for bottom cover removal. You see this inside:
M.2 slot circled in red
You will not void the warranty by upgrading the SSD size. However, you are responsible for any damage done and obviously HP will not warrant the new M.2 disk. You can use a PCIe/NVME 2280 M.2 form factor "gumstick" disk like the Samsung 970 Evo.
Post back with any other questions and please accept as solution if its the info you needed.

Hi, great advice btw.
If you install a fresh copy of Windows 10, will it just be a case of a usb stick (with Windows) (boot priority for usb) and format/partition the drive like old hard drives and SSD’s of the past?
Thanks,
James.
