Yes this happened to my laptop twice. The first time it was repaired under warranty. I bought an extended warranty. It happened again. I returned it for repair and the estimated return date is long overdue and I cannot get a response from HP

So I just received an updated estimate of when my laptop would be repaired and return: March 17! That is almost 2 months since I returned it for repair. Unacceptable! Return it to me now unrepaired so I can download my data onto a machine from another manufacturer.

Pathetic quality and support from HP...They don't know how to own their quality Miss's .. never buy from HP...
By the way No one from HP contacted after escalating on this forum...Guess it's just a waste to post here !
