The hinge for my computer has broken and the machine can’t open and close without starting to break the display and seperate it from the machine, which would result in further damage to the components. I see that it’s a common problem but can’t find the fix.

The PC needs to be sent to HP Service Centre to get it repaired,  I'm sending out a private message to assist you with the next course of action.
