Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

Hi,

We have an HP Envy 360x laptop model 15m-dr0xxx.

They keyboard stopped working. An external keyboard does work.

-In device manager, the ps/2 keyboard is showing an exclamation point, and posting a warning that the device cannot start (Code 10).

-Attempts to update the driver fail. A similar warning message is posted back. Device cannot start (code 10)

-removing the driver and restarting does not address the issues

-I tried disabling the Intel SS and retry ps/2 driver install and that did not help.

Any guidance would be helpful in reloading the ps/2 keyboard driver

In bios the keyboard is not working.

Hello,

please follow these steps ...

(1) After starting the windows operating system, check the device manager for any keyboard related entries and uninstall them, reboot your system (by using an external usb mouse)

(2) Start your operating system

(3) Check again the windows device manager and windows settings of the internal keyboard and test it...

(4) If you are not lucky the internal keyboard could be damaged/defective or the electronic wiring and connections of the keyboard to the mainbard are not correct/broken/have come loose ... please check additionally

(5) No luck ? Contact HP Support directly ...

best regards
