HP Envy 360
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

My laptop is six months old and it's already gone bad.

It started getting loud and hot about two months ago and then a low grinding noise started happening. Now the fan will start to make a truly horrifying grinding noise like a car's engine revving alongside the general crackling and grinding.

It's still under warranty - how long will it take for me to send it off and get it repaired? This is my work computer now that I'm working from home so I need it to work well. I cannot use it as is as the sound is too loud and it genuinely sounds like something terrible is happening in there.
