Please help me obtain the SDHC driver for HP Envy Laptop 17-ae1xx.
When I insert a SD card into the drive, nothing happens. When I look up the drive using Device Manager, it states "Currently, this hardware device is not connected to the computer. (Code 45) To fix this problem, reconnect this hardware device to the computer."
Have not made any hardware changes in the last 90 days and cannot think of a reason my device would come physically disconnected. Here is the history from Device Manager:

It seems I will have to manually re-install the SDHC card using a driver.
Before filing this ticket, I took the following troubleshooting steps.
- Checked Windows Update, no joy.
- Checked HP Support website. When I enter my machine serial number (manufactured in October 2017), I get redirected to a HTTP 404 error.
- Checked HP Support software. It says all my drivers are current, none are required, and for this reason shows me no options to replace this driver.
I am a serious hobbyist photographer, and going without my SDHC card is causing me great difficulty. Thanks for your time and help!
Sincerely,
Kevin

Hi @Banhien, thank you so much for your time and help.
Unfortunately, this has not yet solved the problem. I downloaded the file from Intel as you suggested, ran the .exe, and received a confirmation that it had successfully installed.
I then restarted my computer.
Upon restart, no change: still the "Currently, this hardware device is not connected to the computer. (Code 45) To fix this problem, reconnect this hardware device to the computer." error message in Device Manager.
Can you or anyone else recommend a next step? Thank you again!
Kevin
