I’m experiencing a serious issue with my HP Envy x360 15.6” 2-in-1 laptop (purchased around September 7, 2022), where the left hinge is coming apart from the screen assembly, causing the screen and hinge to come out of their usual location. I’ve always handled the device with care — never dropped it or applied pressure — and yet the screen now feels like it’s about to fall off. After checking online, I found many users reporting this same hinge defect with Envy x360 models, often just outside the warranty window. This clearly appears to be a design flaw, not user damage, and I’m requesting that HP provide a no-cost repair or replacement for what is clearly a recurring manufacturing issue. Thanks a lot.

I’m filing a consumer complaint against HP for the known hinge defect in the Envy x360 series.
This is a manufacturing/design flaw This happened to me despite careful use. I feel cheated, especially since this is marketed as a premium laptop.
I am collecting evidence of the issue and references to similar cases, including user reports, forums, and even an older HP hinge lawsuit in the US.
