HP ENVY x360 - 15-bp096nia

Hello, I am facing the same problem for the second time with the left hinge of my Hp Envy x360.  The hinge is cracking as I try to close the laptop after a day of normal use. The more I try to close it, the more the touchscreen is splitting open on the left side. The first time this happened, the screen got detached from the bezel. It was still on warranty (after 1.5 years of use), so they repaired it. But it broke again in exactly the same way after another 2.5 years of extremely careful use. I'm extremely disappointed in this (otherwise excellent) product that I bought for about $1100. The repair fee is quite high too. What can I do to solve this frustrating issue?

I have brought your issue to the attention of an appropriate team within HP. They will likely request information from you in order to look up your case details or product serial number. Please look for a private message from an identified HP contact. Additionally, keep in mind not to publicly post personal information (serial numbers and case details).

If you are unfamiliar with how the Community's private message capability works, you can learn about that here.
