ENVY m6 1125dx
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

I bought this laptop three years ago and my left hinge has been broken days ago. Now I cannot close my laptop lid without feeling tension from the bending plastic. It keeps pulling on the plastic when closing or opening the lid (bottom cracking caused by the hinge). Some of the plastic fins are missing where the heat exhaust is. I cannot believe this is the HP product. I used to have a Toshiba laptop for about 10 years and none of hardwares was broken. Please advise how to fix it. Thanks!

I have suffered the same exact issue that the original poster, as well as dozens of others, have experienced regarding the hinges breaking on HP Envy m6-1125dx. Please fix my product. I would love to have a fixed product in time for christmas, and be able to gift the laptop to a family member whose laptop is obsolete.

I have an ENVY m6 with the same problem.  Cracking sounds opening and closing, then snap! Is there something that can be done?
